Fitness With Exercise Ball Workouts

by Jeff Ramsey on February 16, 2008

Today, it’s gonna about exercising with an exercise ball. If you haven’t done exercise ball workouts before, you’re missing out one of the most fun exercises ever. I love doing exercise ball for my ab workouts as your body will use the ball as an anchor and therefore most of the energy spent will not solely come from your body. Hence, you don’t tire easily.

I know that some learn better by watching than reading. Though I don’t mind writing about it, I’m sure you’ll find this video very interesting. There are 4 great exercise ball instruction illustrated in the video that you can do at the comfort of your own home and they are great exercises for your hamstring, lower back, upper body and abs.

I have been browsing through your site and I am totally confused. You have an article where you say you should avoid sit-ups and regular leg lifts, and yet you have another article describing how to do sit-ups and leg lifts. In one place you describe stomach crunches as lifting your upper body a few inches and in another article you say to lift it up to your knees. As I said I am just confused!

Thanks for posting the video… I’m one of those visual people you mentioned, who picks it up better when I see it. I like that the exercises don’t require any machines… just a simple ball, so anyone can do them at home.
