Stomach Exercise No. 4 – 4 Steps To Doing The Jack-Knife Sit-Ups

by Jeff Ramsey on September 13, 2007

If you find that leg lifts that we discussed yesterday are too simple, then you ought to try the jack knife sit-ups. It’s pretty hard to do at first but you’ll get the hang of it after a few try. Remember, all that you need is discipline and desire to lose that belly fat. No matter what, you have to lose that fat. So don’t give up and keep doing your flat stomach exercises daily. You can thank me later, but first, it is up to you whether you want to take action or not. Take action and don’t give up. Sooner or later, you’ll see the results.

Step 1
First lie down flat on the floor with your arms by your side.

Step 2
At the same time, lift your knees and torso. Pretend that your knees and face meet at an imaginary line from your pelvis to the ceiling.

Step 3
While doing this, you should be able to kiss your knees at the peak of this motion. Your legs will automatically fold in bringing your feet closer towards your hips, just like a jack knife, hence the name.

Step 4
Lie back down and repeat for a few sets. For more challenge, try placing a weight between your feet.

That’s it guys. We are now halfway through our 8 series of stomach exercises that you can do almost anywhere. No, you don’t need all those expensive equipment to get a flat stomach. Exercise equipment does help, but if you’re on a budget and want to lose weight at the same time, you better follow my advice: no equipment needed. So, tell me what you think.
